I Heard You Whisper

The book is ingeniously constructed as two stories in one book: I Heard You Whisper, I Forgive You and I Heard You Whisper, I Love You. The two stories meet in the middle. Reading the words around the center page the book turns. When the book is closed, the other story begins. The realistic illustrations and text encourage young readers (ages 2-7) to begin their own “talks with God.”

Finding God in Ordinary Things is written to encourage and increase the prayer life of children in grades four through seven as well as in adults. The devotional is based on Romans 1:20: "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse" (Romans 1:20 NIV). Prayer flows like a conversation using the devotions in this book. Spontaneous prayer habits are developed in the reader in response to the numerous prayer reminders that God places around them.
