Thanks for your encouragement with all aspects of God’s work at Clancy Street. We think of especially the library project this summer. Our family wanted so badly to help get books into the hands of these kids – and God has opened so many new doors to us through this addition in our service for Him. The Muslim children are bringing Bible story books into their homes and coming back with new questions about following Jesus. The picture here was not a posed picture and sums up the success of the library on wheels project. The kids have fallen in love with books, are learning new responsibility building skills through their borrowing and returning books, and have a controlled character, spiritual building source of books free for their use. The schools will not even send books home anymore and most of these kids do not even have one book in their homes. I just smiled when I saw all the kids lined up on the bumper of our van engaged in their love of reading. Our family is going to continue to run the library through the school year and into next summer. Kathleen, thank you for believing is this project – most people told us we were crazy – that the kids would steal all the books the first time they brought them home. We have tallied the numbers and the return rate on the books was over 90%! We praise God and our supporters for their ongoing encouragement.        The Boone Family
